In April, I made a family trip to Kenya. I don’t want to bore people with family vacation stories. The most interesting part regarding my photography was that for the first time I was somewhere to make pictures of wildlife animaly. That is not really one of my favorite photography topics, but nevertheless a new experience and certainly an interesting challange.
I am really not sure if my game pictures are any good, but I can say that I had a lot of fun. Even more important for me was that i could widen my knowledge about landscape photography due to an unbelievably beautiful part of our planet earth.
A few of those pictures I made can be found in the flashrock places gallery on this website. You will also find a picture of Martin our driver and travel guide for the week. He is a wonderful person, very educated and a great person ro talk to. He was eager to share his knowledge about local animals and nature in general, but also about Kenyan culture and politics. If could have listened to him all day long. Id somebody reads this who ever needs a recommendation for a travel guide in Kenya, please let me know. Martin is the guy you want! :-)
